All roads now re-opened, power restored following March 21, 2023 storm

The City of Piedmont experienced significant impacts from Tuesday’s storm. Public Works, Police, and Fire staff worked non-stop throughout the storm, responding to over 230 calls to dispatch.

Public Works crews and contractors have been working diligently to clear fallen trees and re-open roads. We will provide updates on this page as roads are cleared.

Road closures

As of Saturday, March 25 at 1:00pm, all roads have been reopened.

Power outages

PG&E has restored power throughout Piedmont.

Facility and service impacts

  • Upper Dracena Park has re-opened to the public, though some portions of the park may be closed off as crews complete grinding and removal of the large fallen tree. For your safety, please respect closure notices and do not walk or allow dogs past barricades.
