The City of Piedmont’s annual 4th of July celebration will begin at 11am on Friday, July 4, running eight blocks along Highland Avenue from Park Way to Piedmont Park.
One of Piedmont’s oldest and most beloved traditions, the parade features floats from neighborhoods and community organizations, an array of antique and classic cars, and several bagpipe bands in keeping with Piedmont’s Scottish traditions. This year’s theme is “Traditions Thrive in 2025.”
Following the parade, festivities will continue in Piedmont Park with a community picnic and music by David Martin’s House Party from 12-3pm
Please be considerate of public spaces
The City asks community members to be considerate one another and of public spaces in advance of and during the celebrations:
- Do not place chairs at bus stops
- Do not block access from the street to the sidewalk with chairs
- Use blankets rather than tarps for picnics in the park, as tarps damage the grass
Thank you for helping keep this event safe and accessible for everyone.
