Commissioners serve three-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.

The City will hold a Volunteer Appreciation reception in the City Hall courtyard at 4:45pm on Monday, April 20 to recognize outgoing Commissioners, Betty C. Howard honorees, and the 2026 Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year awards.

Applications can be completed at piedmont.ca.gov/Commissioner and will remain open until the position is filled.
