Winter/Spring Recreation program registration for Piedmont residents opens at 6pm on Tuesday, December 2. Those who live in other cities can sign up for PRD winter/spring programs starting at 6pm on Tuesday, December 9.
Highlights of Winter/Spring programming include:
-
School break camps: With 30 unique camp offerings and 15 days of full-day Schoolmates Camp Kaleidoscope during PUSD’s winter, February, and April school breaks, the Winter/Spring activity guide is packed with options for working families who need all day care at affordable rates. With topics ranging from baking to storytelling to circus arts and even AI, there’s a camp for every interest!
-
Expanded Adult programming: PRD continues to add new offerings in response to community requests for adult activities. Building on the popularity of Ladies’ Art Night Out with Clay, 2026 brings two new opportunities to get creative with ceramics – a Friday daytime clay class and a monthly Open Studio on Saturday afternoons. A new suite of pickleball skill clinics provides opportunities for players of all levels to elevate their game, from beginners just learning to dink to tournament players looking to sharpen their edge. Other new classes include AI Tools for work, creativity, and personal productivity and beginner Mandarin classes.
-
Spring 801nce/month line up: PRD’s popular adult social event series returns January 28 with Trivia Night for teams up to 6 players, followed by an encore of last year’s popular wine & cheese pairing talk and tasting on Friday, February 13. March brings a presentation from veteran raptor biologist Allen Fish – a must-see for avid followers of Piedmont’s own Bald Eagles last summer! Hands-on ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) and mixology classes in April and May round out the season.
-
Date announcements for annual special events: Mark your calendars now for Bunny Blast (March 29), Pop-Up Putt Putt & Picnic in the Park (April 19), and Play Like a Girl+ (May 3).
